2019 2500 Column Shifter Loose

Took my truck in for a couple of service/warranty item. The shift lever was so loose I thought it was going to fall out of the column and a couple of times the truck was stuck in park. Turns out there is a service bulletin tsb-9004152 on this.

Parts are on order/. It is about a 2hr fix once they come in.

If there’s really a column shifter available for a 2019 I would buy it. Unfortunately we got the dial.

It’s a two minute fix. Pop off the rubber boot and tighten the bolt at the base of the shifter. I think there are a few YouTube vids on it. Easy fix

True, and I don’t want to take this topic into the weeds any further. My response was based on the OP’s description of his vehicle as a 2012 gas truck under his avatar. GIGO.
