2019 Audio upgrade

I just ordered new door speakers, mono amp, 10" sub, LLJ T harness with lp7-2, LLJ Anc bypass and a sub box for under the back seat.


Would someone look over this and make sure I'm on the right track? From what I can see skipping the tweeters in dash seems to be the way to go?

6x9 Pioneer TS-G690 Front/Rear (3 way 4ohm)
10" Pioneer TS-A2500LS4 (4ohm SVC)
Pioneer GM-DX871 Mono amp
LLJ T harness/lp7-2
LLJ Anc bypass

Personally, if I’m adding a sub I only go two way speakers. The amp should be a 5 channel. Only having 4 channels won’t give you a lot of tuning options. And you’ll have to run the speakers in parallel or in series since they don’t have their own channel. Also if you had a 5 channel the sub can be tuned to play only the lows and not highs.

What is your base speaker as well? Just basic or alpine?

I'm just running a mono amp for the sub... I have the base 6 speaker system.

Honestly I couldn't figure out which LOC to get from LLJ to run a 5 channel amp lol. And I was trying to do this on a budget.

In that case you should be ok. But the sub may be too much for the speakers. May need to add an amp for the speakers eventually.

Id get components up front, you want the tweeter in the sail panels, or in the dash.
