We are 5 service appointments deep - between the dealership and Waldoch - to try and find out what is making this horrible noise and neither can figure it out. We purchased the truck "Waldoch'd out" on January 22nd, and they've (Waldoch) been great to try and help us, but the dealership is trying to wash their hands of everything. As far as I know, the things they've done are: shaved down the shift cable mount because it was rubbing on the drive shaft (dealership did this back in February), today they changed out the sway bar links (one was getting loose). It only happens at a slow speed and especially when turning to the left and has progressively gotten worse as the time has passed. Does it in 2wd and 4wd.
Waldoch has checked the cab mount, ball joints and is sending me the list of all things they have checked - all which are tight and torqued correctly. I am requesting all of the service records from the dealership to see what they have done. Our last appointment, in August, the service manager refused to work on it, so that was nice. This time, they've had the truck for 16 days (and counting), with no resolution in sight. Still making the noise and nobody knows why. Here's to hoping someone here can help!! I'm frustrated to say the least. Just in case it matters - this truck is a 2019 Dodge Big Horn. I've seen a few threads with this in the subject line but no resolutions....fingers crossed I'm just missing something.
