Upon closer inspection, the dealer may have replaced the dash with a non-leather one. The material feels more like a soft vinyl, unless I've forgotten the texture of my original dash. If memory serves, though, the original dash felt very leathery while this dash feels...not leathery. No skin off my nose if it won't bubble up and warp like the old leather though.
That's an upgrade

Unfortunately Ram does not care.
You've posted 3 times in 3 different threads... all today. Maybe give them some time to actually see this? You can DM them directly here on the forum as well.

I wonder why the 4th gen trucks with leather dashes don't do this. I've had 2 with leather and neither of mine have ever had an issue. Looking back, I can't think of any I've ever seen with delam issues on 4th gens.

jayquelin, I have the same issue. I see you didn't get a reply on the forum, did they perhaps respond some other way?

Hi, they definitely respond, but it's not going to be what you want to see/hear. They are dodging responsibility. Something needs to be done!!!!!

That's horrific. If this is a truck you otherwise like you might check with local upholstery shops to see what they would charge to recover your dash with the material of your choice. There's no way I'd be driving a truck with a dash that looks like that. Hell, even @turkeybird56 's solution (dash mat) would be better than looking at that mess.

THAT is the exact reason dis BOIRD got the dash mat, heat issues. helps I do not have that fake leather junkola they put in the fancy trucks.
2nd reason: My dash is a tannish color, reflects every headlight beam, every sun beam, every anything right onto windshield. Makes it a royal PITA to drive around all the reflections.

2020 1500 Limited here. Same issue. Dash is peeling up BAD. My dealership was willing to provide a little bit of goodwill on the repair and have agreed to pay 45% of the cost. However, paying $1500 to have a clearly defective dash panel replaced is still unacceptable. This part should not be damaged like this within only a few years of ownership. RAM is using mileage as an indicator on this part, which feels inappropriate as the issue is caused by time in the sun, not miles driven. Super disappointed with RAM on this one. I may just end up replacing the part on my own ($450 on Mopar overstock online stores) then get the front window tinted with 50% ceramic tint to help prevent it from happening again.
