2020 Classic Tradesman 7” EVIC Upgrade?

Greetings from NW Oregon...

Just traded in my old 2008 Ram 1500 2WD SXT on a new 2020 1500 Classic Tradesman Quad cab 4WD, 3.6L gas.

I’ve read thru most of the posts regarding the 7” Premium EVIC upgrade...and have a source for a 2016(or later) premium 7” EVIC panel. I also have an MX+ and security bypass harness coming. I have several Android devices so getting AlfaOBD not a problem.

Yes, I know to get one for the gas, not diesel engine...

Has anyone verified that the 7” panel upgrade works on the 2020 Classic?

I haven't seen it done yet but it should work the same way. If not it's pretty easy to sell the cluster again if it doesn't work out.

UPDATE:

Did it today...easy upgrade, works well...so it’s now verified for the 2020 1500 Classic Tradesman.
