Just picked up my 2020 Limited Black Appearance, not sure i'm a fan of the 22" and the tires. Prefer an a/t type tire, but not looking to lift or go to large on the tire size. But i do want a balance of the best highway ride and noise levels but still will be on some simple trails now and then.

Looking to get feedback, tire size options, etc. on whether to go larger tires on the 22's or switch to a 20x9 wheel and tire package.

Thanks.

What size comes in your current 22” wheels ? Maybe do like my bud did and using that same exact size, go with an A/T tire ?

22x9. The 285/45r22's have a pretty harsh ride compared to my previous RAM 4th Gen Limited that had 20's and 275/60r20.

Wow...you have a 2020 Limited with 22s and you think the ride is harsh? I have the same and my truck is smooth and quiet. I definitely wouldn’t call it harsh. Previous truck was a 2014 Laramie Limited with 20s. I loved the way it rode and handled but the new one is smoother, a bit “floatier” but smooth. I attribute that to the air suspension. IMHO of course.

Too bad you aren’t closer as I just posted a set of 20” Limited wheels paired with A/T tires that are a comfortable ride.

Less sidewall on 22 will always be a harsher ride than a 20 or 18 inch wheel. My snow tires are in my stock 18 inch wheel and my summer tires are in 20s since most aftermarket wheels in 18s won't fit over the calipers on the gen 5. I notice a better ride on the 18s.

The truck is definitely "smoother" but i notice way more of every bump on the road...

Sadly I’m selling on the “ other “ Ram forum and I don’t think I’m allowed to link on here. You can always email me at [email protected] for information. It only works depending on your zip code as shipping is killer.

Yeah, i had no idea shipping was so high for ground. Selling a BakFlip and the shipping is $200 at 50lbs even just one state over.

This is why I list my sales as pick up solely unless it’s something that is small and light. Heck even light if it’s long or wide the cost will add up quickly sadly.
