I have a 2020 Dodge Rebel Ram with a 4” Ready Lift and I am experiencing a significant popping noise from drivetrain but only when the truck is wet. Has anyone had any experience with this issue or have any idea where I should start? I took it to the dodge dealership and they said it was front differential so they replaced it for around $3k and it did nothing for the popping noise I’m experiencing.

Does it change with speed? Turning? Louder or quieter during acceleration or deceleration? Can you recreate the sound? Are you in 2wd or 4wd? Does the sound seem like it comes from the front or rear? Can you feel it when it pops?

It is when stopping and taking off but it’s hard to tell exactly where it’s coming from. Sometimes it sounds like it directly underneath the driver and passenger seat but when windows down it kind of sounds like it’s coming from the front. You can definitely feel it when it pops. I’ve tried putting it in 4WD high and it still pops but it only does this when it’s wet. I have zero problem out of it when it’s dry. The dealership has no idea they are just throwing parts at it at this point

I would climb underneath and double check the sway bars and sway bar links as well as the control arms in the rear and track bar. Double check all the bolts for the lift components are tight. If you have the capability I would lift the truck off the ground from the frame and go through with a rubber mallet and smack on bolts and try to move parts by hand to see if anything itself is loose or noisy
