2020 ram mirrors

I have a 2020 2500 tradesman that had stock mirrors on it, I upgraded to chevy style tow mirrors with puddle lights heat and turn signals manual folding but none of the power functions are working besides mirror adjustment. I have been reading in various places to replace the modules and some say you have to run a computer to turn on the functions. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated thanks
