2021 Cummins - New Fuel Pump?

Saw a couple articles and heard a few rumors that the Cummins engine for 2021 in the HD pickups will have a new high pressure fuel pump. Does anyone have any additional info? The articles stated that the "new" HPFP looks pretty close to the old tried-and-true CP3. My order on a 2021 3500 has reached KZ status, so I am definitely concerned about the CP4 pump. Seeing that they may have changed it makes me very content again!

They are switching back to CP3 on all Cummins engines for 2021 model year.

Dose anyone know what the beginning build date is for the switch over to the cp3 pump on the 2021 model ram/ho cummins?

OR, is there a way to tell the difference between the cp4 & cp3 by looking under the hood?

Did some research, here is what I found: the cp4 has a bit of a v shape and the cp3 has a non-discript shape with a finned cover on the back/rear!

Personally, I`ll be looking at the cp3/2021 model when it`s time to buy!

Not really a "new" HP fuel pump. It is the old reliable CP3.

I anyone does a swap from a CP4 to a "new" CP3 could you tell us how much $$$ it is. Ball park firgures more than OK
