Tried to order one from the dealer today and was told they were on restriction and they had no idea when they would become available. Anyone have insight into this issue?

Another thread was talking about how those were the trucks appearing to be available in any sort of quantity. Maybe the shortage of parts has moved FCA to focus on building high value trucks at the expense of lower price models

My understanding is that all the reg cabs are made in mexico. Something related to trade or border or imports?

There seems to be no movement on 5th gen regular cab 1500. I lived close to the Proving Grounds in Yucca and there's nothing there, I did see the new Dakotas camouflaged July 2019 in Kingman Arizona. My neighbor down the street tests Harleys at The Proving Ground I'll ask him.

I did place an order this weekend for a Hydro Blue 2021 1500 RC Express with the hemi, 3.92 gears and limited slip. We'll see how it goes. Several dealerships told me I couldn't do it but a dealership in Kernersville, NC processed it.
