2018 Ecodiesel Brake Lights

I have a 2018 1500 Ecodeisel Laramie edition. I've gotten a message saying that my right brake light is not working. The local parts store gave me a bulb to put into it. However it won't fit into the brake light assembly. The assembly has two lights in it, but only one is the twist and pull type light. The other, which is the brake light, is not removable, as if it was a sealed beam type assembly. Has anyone else come across this issue? Am I looking at having to replace the whole assembly?

Most of the Laramie trim have LED lights, usually required complete replacement.

Thanks Lou, I appreciate the info and link. Just as I feared, I'm going to have to replace the whole unit. It's ordered and should be here in a couple of days.
