Placed an order on a 2023 Ram 1500 Rebel. Got a VON # but when I put it in the look up search on RAM website, it says no info. Anyone else place an order on 2023 models and had their order confirmed? I know it’ll be a bit before production begins but just trying to gage how long it takes for order to be confirmed.

I have this and I enter my name and VON…I get this. So was curious how long until the order is accepted.

I ordered a 2023 Ram 1500 Rebel on Labor Day. The order was accepted September 5. Everything else is TBD. Is Ram even manufacturing 2023s yet? I am assuming it will be a 6-month wait period.

I think production begins November 1st…so likely February/March delivery date

they are still filling orders for the 2022 5th Gen Ram 1500s
they are no longer taking orders for the 2022 5ths though

at a predetermined date, they will shut down the assembly plant for a complete cleaning & maintenance & make any needed adjustments.

Then they will assemble a hand full of 2023 Rams, they will not have VIN#s, then adjustments will be made & they will make more Rams without VINs

These Rams without VIN #s will be the ones that you will see on display at Fairs, like the Texas State Fair.
They will also be Test Driven by Car Magazines, etc.

Texas Auto Show is
SEPTEMBER 30, 2022 – OCTOBER 23, 2022

You can bet your britches, Ram, Chevy, Ford, Toyota etc. will have their 2023 vehicles on stage
some time around October 15th, i am guessing

Soon after that, you will begin seeing the new vehicles on the road

The Rams built without VIN #s, will be destroyed

In the beginning, it would be customer orders

After they get in the rhythm, i don't know how it works

how do you fit in 1000 white rams for some classy company

Most Rams that are Fleet ordered would be the Classics, Big Horn, Long Horns, Tradesman, etc. they would be built in the other assembly plant, over in Warren Michigan

...................................................
i guess over at the 5TH Gen Ram plant
they are taking 30 hours to build a Ram DT
