I have a 2025 Laramie and have same issue with 43K miles dead battery i replace batteries and for some reason this issue kill the shifter module and the truck don't start. i town the truck to the dealer they replace the shifter module by powertrain warranty but the next day the truck have dead battery again. The truck is again in the dealer and they run a deep electrical analysis they indicated to replace an electrical module to fix the issue; hope they can fix the problem now. I contact RAM costumer service to claim this issue that is affecting no only me if not a plenty of other costumers, there are saying they going to see how they cover this by warranty. but truly I'm loosing trust in RAM. Is my first RAM and could be my last one. My father love RAM and that is way i have one. I like the truck but i cant be driven something that i don't trust. This will be the last chance for this truck hopefully give me the service that i need for the next 8 to 9 years. never have an issue like this with any of my cars in my life.
Welcome to Ram Forum.
Sorry to hear of your grief.
The newer trucks, 2025+, use a new electrical architecture known as Atlantis High.
They work very well, or not at all. We don't have access to any stats to quantify the failure rates.
If I were in your circumstances, I would install an underhood battery minder like the
NOCO 2D.
This will protect your battery from deep discharges and an early death.
I know that this is a PITA, but it will save your battery and some of the headaches of not having your truck available.
Many of the similar stories I've read seem to have been resolved after a software update.
And many of the dealerships seem not to be on the correct notification list.
I would suggest you try contacting
@RamCares to see if they can facilitate a solution.
Good luck, and please update this thread with any developments.
This is a new post from another 2025 owner with similar issues on their truck.
You might keep an eye on this thread to see if the issues get solved.
