Something is going on with factory batteries. I just had to replace the battery in my 2022 ECODiesel, 3 years and 11 months old. Went out to leave for shopping and was greeted with a no-crank. In contrast, the two factory batteries on my 2015 Cummins lasted over 7 years, as did the battery that came in my 2013 Laramie.
Maybe RAM needs to add an option for a "better quality battery" on the order sheet.
P.S. I carry a jump box, and it got me started without any drama. I have the
GooLoo GP4000 in the ECODiesel. In the Cummins, I have a HomPow 6000 (Amazon doesn't have a current listing), which will spin the 6.7L Cummins with no problem. Project Farm gave both jump packs a thumbs-up, and both will work on a low/no-voltage battery (important: not all jump packs will).
