Seems Dodge/Ram is using batteries that are ages old of just factory seconds. My Ram's died just over a year BOTH of them. Wally Everstart AGM, shh don't let them hear me, 3 WY winters and going strong
Something is going on with factory batteries. I just had to replace the battery in my 2022 ECODiesel, 3 years and 11 months old. Went out to leave for shopping and was greeted with a no-crank. In contrast, the two factory batteries on my 2015 Cummins lasted over 7 years, as did the battery that came in my 2013 Laramie.

Maybe RAM needs to add an option for a "better quality battery" on the order sheet.

P.S. I carry a jump box, and it got me started without any drama. I have the GooLoo GP4000 in the ECODiesel. In the Cummins, I have a HomPow 6000 (Amazon doesn't have a current listing), which will spin the 6.7L Cummins with no problem. Project Farm gave both jump packs a thumbs-up, and both will work on a low/no-voltage battery (important: not all jump packs will).

Good to know on the jump units. I'm currently researching them in preparations to add another to the arsenal.

So you're going to get rid of your truck over a battery issue? You can bet there are other auto makers installing **** batteries .
OK, name one, and also, you have no idea how hard it was to even find a dealership to look at my truck, and having it towed by Ram was another big problem. See where I am going with it, the company is bad from the neck down. Then Ram, while trying to have my truck towed, told me I have no factory warranty, I have only had my truck 9 months, and this company is ass backwards.

At the shopping mall with the wife yesterday came out to start our 2025 ram 1500 Laramie with 3.0 hurricane motor.Crank,Crank no start pull out jump box fires right up.Dropped off at the dealership battery is shot.Truck has 16,000 mile on the OD.
Read this please: I have a 2025 Ram 1500 bought Oct 2025. First week after i got the truck i had low battery warning. OK i taught was a faulted battery so i charged overnight to 95%. Next day got the same low battery voltage warning. So went back to the dealer. They checked the battery and was OK, they also open a ticket with Stellantis engineering. Engineering advise them not to change the battery as they worked on a software patch. Following week they called me back i got the new software patch installed and all good after that. Why was doing this is because Corporation needed to meet the Enviro standards so the engine was charging the battery less to save fuel 0.1mgs or 0.2l/100km. The software patch is removing this restriction so it charges the battery as required and not wait until it depletes below low level. If you have this issue with a new truck go back to the dealer and ask for this software patch.

My 2025 Night Edition today battery is dead in my driveway have only 2,300 miles on the truck . I think it is a common problem with the Rams' 3.0 hurricanes. I was waiting for this to happen, just happy it happened in my own driveway. Ram has gone to crap these days. I really think I'm not going to get another RAM after owning nine of them all new from the dealer. Today is December 9, 2025
I got an answer earlier on what you should do to address this issue. Please check my answer. It is a software patch you need to ask the dealer for. They programmed the truck not to charge the battery to save on fuel. please check my answer.

My 2025 Ram 1500 Laramie SST with 2800 miles , battery died a month ago. Had been fine, next day nothing. Went to dealer, claimed bad battery and replaced. Today same problem, completely dead. I drove a couple hours yesterday but nothing today. Did start with my jumper, back to dealership tomorrow.
