I have a broken taillight on my '17 Laramie 1500. I'm reading about all kind of different options that may or may not work as replacements. Which taillight do I have? The LED? Premium? Incandescent? It looks like LED to me with an incandescent backup.

Yes it a LED tail light with a halogen backup light. There's two styles of OEM LED taillights for that truck, the ones you have and the sport version. The difference is the Sport version doesn't have the chrome around the edge.
There's aftermarket replacements but make sure they are compatible with factory LED taillights.

Mine work good, i have the smoked c-style. I use to get a code if it rained really hard or i washed and soaked it good for some reason but hasn't happened in a while and always gone the next day.
Make sure you get the led replacement ones as the connections are different, you'll use your pigtail harness on your light for the new ones.

@boba5663 Question here. Do you want to change the lights from what you have? I see used OEM tail light replacements on eBay for $50 or less for the 2017 Laramie.

Haven't decided, I guess I'll look at what's out there. Not opposed to changing it up though.
