I recently purchased a set of rt wheels and the guy had them plastidipped but peeled it off before I bought them. He seemed to either rough them up for the plastidip to stick or maybe tried polishing them possibly? But either way there's fine scratches ALL over the rims, it's not too noticeable but I am quite picky with my things. Is there anything I could do to get them back to pristine condition?
Thanks for any help!

Send them to get powder coated? That could be a solution I think.

Those look sick! I will go that route if nothing else works out but I was hoping to keep them nice n shiny!

There polished aluminium which can be tricky to take care off.

I would try and use some mothers polish and see if that gets most of the swirls out. If there too deep it might not work.

powdercoat or get them refinished, polished aluminum can be super tricky!

Theres a coating on them, so don't polish TOO hard. If you do, im sure you can spray another type of coating on there...I assume.

I tried buffing mine in a very small area, and its discolored where I polished so I stopped.

You should try glaze or other types of clear coat polish. I've done it on mine with a microfiber towel. Remember to go the opposite way of the scratches. It would be nice if it didn't have the coating but sometimes I'm glad they are like that.

Best bet would be to take them to a machine shop that does polishing work and let them buff them back to original, then take and have them clear coated over again. Then no more polished aluminum worries. If I liked shiny things, that's what I'd do. Lol but those matte black wheels look sick!
