Seriously, i have 250 miles on a brand new truck and I have a high beam on the passenger side that wont stay on. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt. This was the first time i was out at night......flicked on the automatic high beams and they seemed fine. After a few minutes, the evic tells me that the passenger side high beam is out. I turned it off, and back on again and it worked. did this a few times before it finally quit. Parked it for an hour, came back out and started the truck and the message was gone. Hit the highs again and both worked for a few miles and then it quit again......then worked, then quit......then worked and finally quit for the final 10 minute drive home.

Quality stuff here......:flipthebird:

Anybody know the set up here? Seperate high and low beams? Its not even worth my time to go to the dealer, id rather just buy, replace it and call it a day......

On a side note, i just pulled my utility trailer out of winter storage and found that the running lights arent working and the blinkers/brake lights are all ****** up........hoping that this isnt a wiring problem with my truck.......which may affect the headlights ( i doubt it, but who the hell knows ).

Sounds like a warranty issue to me, I'd bring it to the dealer. Bulbs are either good or bad, if they go they don't come back on

Sounds to me like bad connection. If the truck sat for any period of time and moisture collected, it could be mild corrosion on connector.

Sounds like the trailer is not grounded good. Take the truck for headlight to the dealer.

Either a bulb works or it doesn't. Sounds like a connection problem and if you want you can check all the connections to the back of the capsule to make sure they are all tight.

Have you used this trailer with this truck?

nope, just got the truck 4 days ago. Thats whats making me mad, i have no idea if the trailer connection ( next to the lisc plate ) is faulty or if its the wiring or ground on the trailer like others have mentioned. We did use a test light on the recepticle next the lisc plate and got all connections to light with the test light ( blew a fuse in the process ), so i beleive the recepticle is ok.

I'm gonna have my buddy who has a 14' ram sport come over and hook up and see what happens.

I did find a thread a about high/low beam connectors needing to be clipped back on tighter or unlcipped and re-clipped.

Does anybody know if the high/low beams are one buld or two and since this is the led set ups, are they funky style bulbs or anything?

My truck was on the lot for 3 moths as somebody said to be aware of corrosion ect.......
