The stock size is a 32" tire no matter which wheel size you get, except the Rebel which has the 275/70-18 (33") as standard so those guys wouldn't be stepping up.

Most people put on considerably larger tires with a lift to make a bigger height/clearance difference than 1" in overall diameter.

I considered it when I ditched my OEM Falkens but I ultimately decided that an extra 1/2" of clearance wasn't worth it.

The Nitto Ridge Grappler tires I got (275/65-18) are $30 cheaper per tire than the 275/70-18 ones. $120 + tax for 1/2" is kind of pricey. Plus you have to decide if you want to upgrade your spare too.
