Quick question, will a 285/70 R17 tire fit on a factory 8 Lug?

I’m in the market for tires and want to move the best of the 4 to my spare. I’m pretty sure the current spare is the original from 2006.

Next question, will a 285 fit under the truck?

Thanks all!

That's what I'm running for both sets, AT and MT.

That’s only a 33” it should fit without issue. And what’s the question about 8 lug, bolt pattern I assume? If so that doesn’t have anything to do with fitting tires.

Thanks gents! I have a set of 17x9 Raceline’s on my rig, I just wanted to make sure that the spare was good to go with that size tire.

@MoPowered I just said 8 Lug so whoever replied would know I was referring to a 2500/3500 wheel. ;)

Thanks again!

If 4x4 you can fit 35x12.5 on factory rims with minimal rubbing

Truck is already running the 285's, it's the spare that I wanted to make sure will still fit under the truck with the 285 on it. I was pretty certain the tire would fit the factory rim but I wanted to ask the experts first.
