Just curious and I know I have a 2017 ram sport night edition I get on grass it won’t spin the tires to get myself out just curious is there a reason I mean I know there’s a rev limiter but if my wheels even spin once it cut throttle completely out and won’t let me rev or spin to get my self out and I’m on flat ground in my own yard just curious if anyone has had any issue with this

Turn off the traction control. When both wheels spin evenly, the traction control will apply the brakes (through ABS) to both wheels to stop them from spinning and that will bog down the engine. It’s almost like holding down the brake and push down the gas pedal at the same time. It will do it anytime both wheels have almost zero traction at the same time. In most situations one wheel will have more traction than the other wheel, the traction control senses the wheel spinning faster than the other and brakes the spinning wheel, which send power to the other wheel that has more traction. With little to no traction to both wheels, the traction control will go back and forth between both spinning wheels trying brake them. That ends up applying the brake to both wheels.

Ya our traction control on our trucks will get you stuck in a heart beat. It’s sucks when you get into a slide and try to control the vehicle, then the traction control takes over and ***** all over your fun.

Turning off trac control should let you spin the tires off the rims.

Stability control or what ever they call it can't be turned off, but that should only kick in when the vehicle is well into motion.

What motor do you have? What gears? I can’t see a 5.7 8 speed not cooking the tires... I can barely keep mine hooked up as it is.

Buy a 4 wheeler. What am I missing? You complain you can't break um loose and (then if you could shut it off and hit something or someone) you'd complain about it not automatically turning back on.
