Please point out where I have acted immaturely with Corneilous. I have been nothing but respectful. Sorry I triggered you with the large tire comment.
As for "losing out by going 3.21". He's losing nothing, because he will hit max payload before max towing.
Just the fact that you are so damn condescending/patronizing ... you keep posting comments about until someone learns this and than and understands and just added the "When you hop in with your wife and a properly setup WDH, and attach a trailer at 8000 pounds, you probably hit max payload." comment ... I would of honestly popped you straight in the mouth just because of how condescending you have been about this whole conversation ...
Key phrase here is "will not be towing much" and you decided to add the payload argument in there dude ... he wanted to know what he was losing and before I even came into the discussion this thread turned into a back and forth between you and Corns ... with you being as condescending as anyone can be ... you seem to think that he doesn't understand what you are saying but honestly IMO you are the one who doesn't understand the whole point of this thread to begin with ...
That is how you are being immature .. I don't have to point a particular comment of your as almost every post you have added to this thread has been you being the only one who knows and understands how gears and ratios between a 3.21 and 3.92 act on the highway ....
Fact is you are probably not an engineer for these trucks and you know just as much as we do about how the gears and ratios for 3rd, 4th and 5th gears act and all the other numbers you decided to throw out there ... and the "This is why I have a hard time believing the 3.92 guys," shouldn't be hard to believe ... the 3.92 will in fact accelerate better than the 3.21 out on the highway from 60-70 mph and I can say this because I personally have experienced it ...
I have been in a 3.21, 3.55, 3.92, 4.56 , 4.88 and 5.13 geared trucks so I can tell you what they all feel like and that all is probably irrelevant anyways ...
But seriously dude ... your arguments might of been valid or needed if talking about towing or RPMs on trucks with 3.21s vs 3.92s ... but the OPs question didn't merit you trying to educate one person for 2 days about how he doesn't understand and should understand and believe what you say about these trucks lol ...
