For my 2010 ram, my ram has the 4.7 you would think ram would figure the truck needs the lower gears to move it. My truck has trouble holding even 70mph.

Oh, yeah- that'd be a dog. My F150 had 3.55s and a 5.4. The 5.4 had a hell of a lot more whollop than the 4.7 and it could barely get out of its own way. Regear it. Likely money well spent.

3.55's with the 5.7 would not be as bad but as I previously stated I have the 4.7. To answer your question I'm going to regear it.

Wow, if you are that upset about the 3.55 gears you'd probably be suicidal if you had the 3.21's .

I have a 5.7 with 3.55 gears and while I can't attest to how it tows the gearing works great in day to day driving for me.

I also have 3.55 gears. While my girl isn't a Shelby cobra, she gets up and goes any time I get Hemi foot.

I had a long list of must haves when I bought my truck, and first on that list was 3.92's.

When I was buying my truck I didn't even think to look. I lucked out when I found out I have 3.92

Your rite, I didn't have to buy it, I may have come off a little strong. I love the truck and it will pull anything I will put behind it for a while (towing capacity claims to be 6,000lbs). I just wish it had the lower gears (numerically higher) now that I have been making longer trips on the freeway.

I am right there with you. I am on my third truck. I made sure to get my 2014 ram 4x4 with the 3.92 gearing. They had a truck at the dealership that had everything I wanted. I read the window sticker specifically looking for the gearing. I saw 3.55. No deal. I told the sales **** I wanted it with 3.92. He had no clue what I was talking about. Moral of the story: do your research before you get to the dealer and secondly, get 3.92 gearing.

I'm wishing I checked when I bought my truck. I too have 3.55's with an open diff to boot (I HATE open diffs...) Had I known, I would of paid the extra coin for 3.92's and an LSD.. And even better yet I was talking to my dealer the other day about it and they said had I ordered the truck and not got it off the lot it would of only been a few hundred bucks difference when ordering.. oh well, what can ya do now?

Ford does it also, my best friend just picked up a 2014 F150 FX4 with 3.55's so it isn't uncommon.

If gears can't fix this I may be up for a new truck. But if I go that route it's going to be a Cummins.
