IMG_0122.JPG Has anyone swapped gears from 3.55 Limited slip to 4.10 OEM gears? Just wondering what gears to go with 4.10 or 4.56 gears. I only drive the truck on the weekends and its just for fun. Have a work truck for daily driving. Last time i went to the track with the stock gears and stock trans it ran 13.493. Hoping to get it into the 12's with the trans from L&M and maybe a gear swap. Any thoughts

I did 4.10s. I said numerous times, that 4.10 is what these trucks should have come from the factory with. If I had to drive 3.55s, I'd sell the truck. At 60 mph or less the fuel mileage is the same; Some say better. 1950 rpm at 70 mph. Reduced transmission stress from the better mechanical advantage provided by the lower rear end geaars.

As far as a value based modification, 4.10s are very hard to match.

Matt was running an 11 on 4.56s for quite a while, and liked those also.

BYW, that's a sharp truck! I like th blacked out grill and black mirrors.

417 hp..... I think I'd turn that up a bit.

But do gears!
