Yea the pipe off the manifold to exhaust pipe.. I may have wrong name for it
Thanks, just wanted to know what to check. When I purchased my truck their was a loose exhaust "something" from the factory that they tightened down which I think is getting loose again. Just wanted to narrow my search!

Thanks, just wanted to know what to check. When I purchased my truck their was a loose exhaust "something" from the factory that they tightened down which I think is getting loose again. Just wanted to narrow my search!
The flange on my RAM if memory is right is passenger side front door ! If I am right do I win a cookie ? LOL Please do UPDATE what you do find causing the ticking ! Thanks

The Pentastar does not have external exhaust manifolds, they are internal incorporated inside the heads. The exhaust pipes bolt directly to the heads, one on each side so the tick is not likely caused by an exhaust leak.

But the exhaust is not 1 piece from the motor to muffler to the end ! There are flanges that could leak ! !

Maybe the RAM dealer put this on a VW ? lol
I see 3 places for a potential leak
