Any recommendation for ultra ultra quiet 3" tube style resonators that will considerably tone down the exhaust sound without hindering flow? They will be going before the muffler.
Thought i could deal with it but my setup is just way to loud for my taste.

Thanks.

Are you running that dual in/out Maggy? Just curous because I have had some other requests for it, and was curious if you decided to install it? If so, what do you think so far other than its loud?

I know Aero has some 3" resonators that people seem to be happy with.

No the Mag' is still sitting (Still have the good replacement and the original order sitting lol). the Mag' body and overall casing length is shorter than my current Dynomax so i am going to assume the dB level will be close if not a tad more louder? I do still wish to change it out though.

LT's >> No Cats >> dual 3" Piping to 3" DO/DO Dynomax Ultra Flo w/ internal X >> dumped after the axle.

Having the carpet removed and having a vinyl floor liner from a ST prob' took a lot of the dampening away.

It prob' not as loud as i am indicating so it could be just subjective since i have been used to my more quieter setups in the last few years.

In the shop now waiting as they switch mufflers. got pulled over by highway patrol leo on the way there for tinted tails but got a warning fix it ticket. Also ran the serial of my gun while asking questions about other mods on truck. did not care about the 20 percent window tint since he understood with this weather. anyway the pumpkin should be ready about an hour.

How dark were your tails? Ive seen some that you cant see the lights on at night driving in front of a few police officers without being pulled over.

Got them cheap off eBay but they are pretty dark so its understandable. Light output is prob' better at night vs the day. Still got my Sonar LED but dont like them so going to maybe try those LED Depo tails.

Gotta say that i am loving the Magnaflow. It has considerable taken care of the resonance and overall noise inside. In addition the exterior is also quieten down to maybe shy above stock which is great considering we are dealing with dual 3" piping here.
The roads are wet so i have not gone beyond just cruising rpm but man its nice. In terms of tone i can't really tell any different cause i am just glad it is now reasonable noise levels.
No resonators were needed and i just kept it dumped after the axle.

Thanks Moes for finding this,
