I want to buy a tuner for my truck but some friends have been telling me to wait till i have 30kmiles on my truck.???

I'm waiting till after my 30k warranty, couple of buddies got refused warranty work because of their tuners at my dealership. Not worth it to me.

just put the stock tune in when you take it in for service.

I had 5k miles when i tuned mine

I don't think they can see how many times it was flashed, but more like they see how recent it was flashed compared to their records and the amount of key on cycles.

The powertrain warranty is long than 30K. You'd have to wait 5 yrs.

Yea, they didnt have their tuners installed and set it back to stock. Somehow the dealership still knew that they had one based on the flashes. I guess its a good chance they wont catch it, but I wouldnt chance it with my dealership.
