Does anyone know if the auto air on the 2019 3500 levels side to side or is it just front to rear? I've heard the 2019 up was changed so it does level side to side. The reason I ask is because i'm looking at a single slide truck camper which has the fridge in the slide. I asked around in the truck camper forums and some say their truck does lean a bit with this camper. Most have aftermarket air bags and just air up the right side a bit.

I heard from another person who has the same truck as mine and says no lean as they level side to side. Does anyone know for sure how this works on the later models?

Thanks,
Rick

They have a little arm and tierod on each airbag that measures the height of the axle vs. the body, so if one wheel was lower then the other and you put weight on the bed I'm sure one side would end up with less air. Although I do not know for sure if the left and right side are separate, that usually requires two compressors and or a check valve.

I did a little crawling underneath and did see the arms. I didn't have a lot of time but followed the air hoses into the frame. They ran separate as far as I could follow them but may be teed in the frame.

My wife's friends son is a tech at a dealership. He going to check it out tomorrow and see how the system works.

Thanks,
Rick

It doesn't require multiple compressors, the system on the 1500 that does all four wheels only has a single compressor.
The system on the HD trucks is probably similar and uses solenoids to control the air to the left/right independently.

Makes sense, I'll have to look at the airline routing next time I'm under there.
