4.6 Motor bogs once after starting

Running a 2003 with the 4.6 auto trans. After startup I can go about 3-4 hundred feet and the motor bogs down acts as if it's starving for fuel or air. If the accelerator is floored it will hesitate then pick back up, if left alone it will usually stop running. No codes have shown up. Have checked fuel rail 0ressure and it's in tolerance. Anyone got any ideas to toss out? Thanks!

Hope you mean 4.7.... Have you changed the air filter? I would clean the throttle body too as a start.

How about cleaning your throttle body for starters since there are no codes.

Dodge or Ford aside, it sounds like a lack of fuel pressure? Clogged filter maybe? Higher rpms keeps it going but without it it chokes out. Check that maybe?
