4.7 perfomance

hei was up . i just bougth a 05 dodge ram 1500 4.7 couple months i was wondering what can i do to make it faster more i ready install headers,ported and polish my tb, intake ,chip dyablo, suspension exhaust i got the stock one straigth pipe all the way , i was thinking doing it posi lsd with 4.56 gears also install caltracs traction bars and a torque converter and im thinking getting into the engine but i cant find cams for this truck. so any ideas guys pls i need help if im going in the rigth way i want to know

Deeper gears would definitely help. My Jeep Commander has the 4.7, and the deepest gears you can CURRENTLY get for it, are 4.10's (over the factory 3.73's.

I live IN Pittsburgh - tons of hills, stop 'n' go driving, and stop signs/lights every 5 feet. Combine that with the 5,000+ lbs of curb weight, and this monster weighs MORE than my '92 Ramcharger!!! If ever a 4.7 SCREAMED for 4.56's, it's my Jeep.

Just be glad your truck HAS such axle options!!!

4.56's or 4.88's if 2wd and auto.

There isn'tareally any cam options for us. I have heard the ho cams are a nice addition but hard to find.
Why don't you check out a rear mount turbo setup? You can use the Diablo to tune, if you have $1-2K I think that's going to be your best bang for your buck.

mm 4.88 gears sounds good i was searching and i found that we can use the intake manifold of a ram 08 4.7 but we have to buy a thing that air ram sells. cant find a rear mounted turbo,
