4.7 Performance Cams

Looking to do some mods to my 2003 4.7 ram. It has a few things already, but when i looked into camshafts i couldn't find any for the 4.7. Does anyone know where i can find them and where, how much. Thanks.

Also if anyone has a suggestion for a different performance upgrade that is better for the money feel free to chime in. I already have a SuperChips Tuner and a Flowmaster

If your looking for the 4.7 H/O cams good luck. They are very hard to find bc mopar has stopped producing them. Basically the only way to get some is if you see someone selling a set new or used. I have been looking for 6 months now with no luck. Except one guy had a set for $600 but i dont remember if they were new or used but i couldnt justify paying double of what they usually sell for.

I would be interested in any cams that were better than stock for the right price and i don't blame you for passing them up for $600, wow

You can do Fast Man Throttle body, Headers, E-fan, underdrive pullies, and gears. Gears are great up grade for us 4.7l guys next to doing the HO cam swap.

As of now this is my daily driver and i heard gears can kill your gas mileage, if that's true then I'm going to look elsewhere for performance.

4.56's will give you the most noticable improvement in performance, and they will only hurt mileage if you do alot of highway driving over 65mph. Also, if you are 2wd, then the gears and install kit are less than $300, so it is a cheap mod that works great.
