4th gen 2500 5th wheel prep kit

Looking for the 4th gen 2500 OEM prep kit for a fifth wheel. AKA the puck system or under bed mounts. It's Mopar part number 82215838AB.

The allmoparparts website says this part is on backorder with no delivery date in sight. It says orders will be filled in the order they are received.

I've tried local dealers and all variety of online sites. They are all saying the same thing. Apparently no one has anything better to do than buy fifth wheels these days. The consistent message is they maybe expect them beginning of April.

I was hoping maybe someone had one sitting on a shelf somewhere that they can part with.

What does the prep kit all include? My 2016 2500 that I bought used had the 5th wheel rails that I removed since we never plan on getting a 5th wheel. Are they the L shaped brackets attached to the frame? I removed the rear most ones but the front ones are still on the truck. If that's what you need then name your price since I don't need them.

I appreciate you offering. The kit comes with the "puck" brackets that mount to the frame under the bed.

It comes with all the brackets and mounting hardware below. This allows the bed to be virtually empty when the hitch is removed.

If you are talking about the rails that mount inside the bed, that's what I'm trying to avoid.

Yeah, trailer life has exploded. Not helping here, but someone posted their new truck and massive 5th wheel in 5th Gen general discussion. Worth a look. Good luck, and post a picture of your rig once all set up. Happy trailering!

i dont have the kit your looking for but im pretty sure i have a bed mounted trailer plug kit for the 4th gens if your looking for one.
