Can I ask a question on the look of these two mirrors. I just purchased the same ones and noticed that the glass mirror size itself is smaller on the driver's side than on the passenger's side. From looking at your sale photos, I see the same thing. From taking both glass pieces of the mirrors, I can see they're both stamped with Chrysler logos, so they're definitely original. I noticed that the driver's side has an extra plug on the mirror itself. Another post on this forum said it was for auto dimming. I see that there are extra wires in the plug harness for that, so that makes sense, but those don't exist on the passenger side mirror. Could the auto dimming feature be why the glass itself is physically smaller (larger plastic bezel) on the driver's side when compared to the passenger's? I'm OCD and this difference is bugging the hell out of me lol. I'm considering replacing both mirror glasses to make them the same brand/design.

Anyone have thoughts? If I should list it on a different thread, let me know.

I read once the auto dimming is only available on both mirrors if you purchase the highest trim. My mirrors from a lone star only had auto dimming on driver mirror. The glass from non turn signal mirrors was the same size as the glass from the turn signal mirror. I actually swapped them out because mine was in better shape. Any idea what model your mirrors were from?

Yea my original mirrors on my SLT (no puddle light) are the same size glass. I'm not sure on the year of the new (used) ones I bought, but I believe a 2016 or something. I've seen multiple other trucks with the same setup, smaller mirror glass, larger plastic bezel on the driver's side, then not on the passenger's side. The extra plug for auto dimming is definitely on the driver's side only.

Some passenger mirrors are auto dim and others are not. The auto dim mirror will have a thicker plastic surrounded around the actual mirror glass. You can see an obvious difference if you compare the two. If you have an auto dim standard mirror it will have a white connector with two or more wires. If it has four or more wires it's and auto dim/ memory mirror. If it has a blue wire next to a yellow wire in the black mirror connector it's a power folding mirror.
