4th gen ram Uconnect 5 radio Upgrade

Hello everyone I have a concern with my radio.
I have a 2015 ram 1500 and it had a tradesman dash before but I since then upgraded for a Laramie dash and dash harness and everything original I also installed a UAQ 8.4 radio out of a 2019 ram classic with Apple car play and it works amazing no issues HVAC controls work and all. Now I just installed a Uconnect5 UBD radio and it’s adapter harness for the new connectors it came with wireless Apple car Play and when I first turned it on I had the HVAC controls on screen and everything worked great no issues but once it wen through a few sleep cycles the Controls on screen disappeared now I can’t control anything on screen I have the physical controls and Luckily A/C works but I can’t control the vents or the heated mirrors so my question is has anyone dealt with this issues and if so how can I fix it the radio came off 2022 ram 1500 classic

That's the unfortunate part about being a pioneer. Practically noone other than @Jimmy07 have Uconnect 5 in their 4th Gen. And as far as I know, Jimmy had to swap an entire 5th gen interior (including getting a brand new 5th gen bcm programmed by the dealer) into his truck before getting nearly everything to work. I'm pretty sure I read that theres a secret module that some forum members have that is needed to adapt the HVAC controls from Uconnect 4 to Uconnect 5 but if it exists, it's definitely not public as I've been checking this forum at least once a week trying to find new information as I've been planning a 12 inch uc5 swap in my '17.

The fact that you got uc5 to boot in your 2015, however, is almost promising enough for me to finally pull the trigger. So I'll be in the same boat as you trying everything I can to make it work. I wish both of us luck!
