Was posted up on another forum......guy ran a 7.66 @ 91mph in the 1/8th spraying a 175 shot with pretty much full bolt-ons, slicks, and 3.55 gears. If he gets on the 1/4 mile he should be running 11s

Its comes out to about a 12.0 with my calculations ( 7.6×1.57), and my 7.6 run in my truck, but im sure he can crack that 11.9 all day. Badass 4th gen.

That's pretty quick. I didn't think our motors would take a 175 shot. Great pass !

I've sprayed a 175 shot as well on my old truck.
Took it like a champ.

Officially the quickest 4th Gen. in the 1/8. It's too bad he didn't get a 1/4 pass.

I missed this thread the other day. 7.6 is MOVIN'. Its nice to see a 4th gen knocking on the doors of 11's in the 1/4.

I miss those days...my F250 trapped 95-96 in the 1/8th. I guarantee this Ram is not even close to 91...much less 96.

That does beg the question of... on stock internals and a custom tune, what is the biggest shot our hemi's can handle? I was looking at maybe doing a 75-100shot with the ripp charger.

Ripp is already pushing the limits at 8psi Boost, 6 is considered safe.
The stock ring lands are too thin and anyone would be wise to at least run Water/**** injection with a Supercharger/Turbo to keep combustion temps down to minimize the chance of carnage.

Throwing Nitrous into that chamber instead of water/**** would be certain death.

You need a forged bottom end, and I know someone in Calgary that is doing just that with his Forged/Procharger/Nitrous build.

Ah that makes sense. Twas good that my car came forged due to factory turbo, and I was going to run a Snow **** kit on there, but decided against it. That could be an option instead of nitrous in combination with the ripp kit... and hopefully HPTuners gets their asses in gear so I can start tuning the truck my way.

Thanks for the info :)

I'm waiting on a pulley now to up my Procharger to ~10PSI. I'll up the **** to 70% and see what happens....I may be looking at another motor sooner than planned. lol
