I really love my Continental TerrainContact AT tires if you don't need an aggressive all-terrain. They are even better than the Bridgestone Dueller AT Revo2's which I loved. The Continentals only cost me .5-1 mpg over the stock tires at highway speeds.

When I bought my 2020 ram, I had all intentions of changing the wheels to either a 20 or an 18 inch and get KO2s like my Ford 150. But I fell in love with The stock 22 inch wheels that came on this limited. They are so easy to clean and they look sharp. The problem was BF goodrich K02s don’t come in 22 inch. I wound up getting the Nitto ridge grappler‘s and so far they are awesome! They are very quiet and have a great traction. I was able to get 305/45R 22 mounted without any rubbing. Once I put the front mudflaps on there was slight rubbing where I had to notch out a corner of the top of the mudflap on the inside

I have Milestar Patagonia tires, they are getting great reviews everywhere and Im very happy with them so far. Extremely quiet and yet grippy like a mud tire.

Bridgestone Revo 3. Quiet AT tire and so far good at the beach.

I'm also in the market for new 20s for my 2016 Big Horn. I'm leaning towards the Falken Wildpeak AT3W that lots of people seem to like.

Can anyone who actually runs them tell me how they compare to the stock SRAs, specifically with respect to road noise and fuel mileage? I'm willing to sacrifice a little of each for a tire that is much better in rain and snow, but I don't wan't a noisy or rough tire. I like the way the SRAs feel and sound, but it's pretty obvious that they don't perform well in anything but ideal conditions. Thanks!

The Wildpeak tires I mentioned have a load rating of 125 which is 3638 lbs. An E load rating, so I don't know where you saw a T load rating.

Interesting. When I checked them on Walmart.com, they listed the T rating. I'll check again.....but the sale one isn't my size anyway.

Edit: Ok, you are right.....I see the load index of 125, which implies a heavier tire. I wish advertisers would list all the details though. They should list the load index and the number of plies, or stick with the old rating (C, D, or E).

I removed the comment from my previous post.

That's a good deal though...just not my size tire. The one in my size (285/70/17) is a lower index and more expensive. Figures.

Think the speed rating was "T". Didn't see a load rating listed on Walmarts site

Walmart switches back and forth from "index rating" or "load rating". Pretty sure that is the manufacturers ad fault, not Walmarts (but Walmart is advertising it that way).

first decision: P series or LT? heavy hauling/towing/extreme rocky trails? go LT. If not, P series are cheaper and lighter, giving better MPG. Second desision: All-terrain or off-road tires? again ATs will be better MPG, quieter, better braking and wet traction. For me, ATs in a P series made sense. Using Tire Rack tool, I wanted good life, good braking in wet or dry, good snow/ice traction, and QUIET on the highway. Firestone Destination AT was top choice, followed by Yokohama Geolander. Yokohama's were $30/tire cheaper, so I got them. 20k miles later I love them.

I used BFG ATs on my DD since they came out in the 70s. KO2s are probably on about their 4th revision of their AT since they started out . They used to be the AT all others were measured against. Only issue I have had is the last 2 Rams I stupidly stayed with the OE 20s and would have to buy heavy E rated 35's. Anything larger than stock seems to be an E rated 10ply tire in a 20 which is heavy for one thing. I went from a 35-12.50-20 BFG AT on my 14 to a 275-65-20 Nitto Terra Grappler G2 ( on my 17 also) which can still carry more weight than should be in a half ton truck . The Nittos are less than a half inch shorter and an inch narrower than the 35-12.50-20 KO2's . What was important to me was the fact they are XL rated and are 20lbs per tire lighter than a KO2. Normally I sell the 20s and buy 17's for the taller sidewalls, better ride and larger tire selection without having to buy an E rated 10 ply tire. I have always felt the BFG AT was a quiet tire . Between my jeeps and Rams I have had 3 sets of 35" KO2s and have gotten many compliments on how quiet they were even at highway speeds as were all the other BFG ATs since the 70s..

Looking for an 8ply (D) preferably but will do 10ply (E) if I have too 275/60/r20
But really want to hear about snow....like MN snow or Mountain snow performance
I have geolander 15 3rd season and they suck in winter driving even with 5 sand bags
Dealer will warranty them out states the sipping is good for the first 1/4 of tread
Recommendations for performance in winter PLZ

Getting ready to replace the factory Goodyears with something a little more aggressive. Looking very seriously at Cooper at3, either the 4s or the xlt. Had good luck with Coopers in the past but never this exact tire. Wanting a quite all terrain. Any comments are appreciated!!!

2014 Laramie 1500 Crew Cab 4x4, 5.7, 8 speed, factory air ride.
I would say take a look at the Cooper ATP from discount tire. A bit cheaper, and more aggressive tread.

60k mile warranty - I have had mine for a year and they are quiet, ride well, and are wearing well.
While I know 4wheelparts.com has been around for a long time, and they may have good prices (don't know, didn't compare to anyone else), does no one have a problem with a place selling tires having the filter for "tire height" reference the section width? Fro me, I cant get on board with buying tires from anyone who does not understand the most basic information with regards to tire sizing. They also have the aspect ratios under the "tire width" filter.

Their website design has no effect on the performance of my tires. So I don't have a problem with it. I bought them in the store and they have been great tires for the money.

No doubt. I’m not saying anything about the tires. I’m just saying I would have a hard time buying from a vendor that doesn’t understand the basics of the products they sell. Just my opinion.

I'd be willing to bet anyone you could call and talk to at that vendor would understand the basics. Their IT team doesn't, though.
