Hey guys, I have an 01 Ram 4X4 with the 5.2, my issue is that from a cold start you can drive the truck as long as you want with no issues, last weekend for example drove it for 6 hours with no issues but if you shut the truck off and it set for about an hour and then you start it back up and drive off it will stumble and it sounds like it is back firing through the intake, you can let off of the gas and try to go again a couple of times and it will snap out of it be fine the rest of the drive until you shut it off and try to go again and it has to set for that amount of time, if you shut it off for 5 to 10 minutes no problem.
But a few days ago it did this and wouldn't snap out of it no matter what, I tried letting it idle for a few minutes but when I tried to take off it did it again, I also shut it off for a few minute but still wouldn't go but once it was allowed to sit for about 3 hours and completly cool down it will run fine all day and every time since then it is the same, cold start fine, restart after and hour stumbles but will go on.
And through all of this no check engine light and no codes in ECU.
Now here is what I have done so far.
Cleared ECU with code reader and by leaving battery disconnected over night.
Replaced plenum and intake gaskets.
Removed Cat
Replaces pick up in distributor, rotor button, distributor cap and coil.
My next move today is to replace the crankshaft position sensor.

Any other ideas?????
