So he doesn't have the DPF deleted???

This guy was saying he was running a full delete pipe and a bullydog lol..guess that was BS. The thing is, it's really loud...what is he running then? Also, I noticed his truck roles clean with no smoke, also leads me to thinking he still has the DPF.

He could have another fooler for the dpf, who knows on that one haha
Ive just never been impressed with bullydog tuners either, seems like they spend more money on their advertising then their products but I also feel that way about royal purple as well lol
I just looked up the dyno numbers for the triple dog GT they say 346.2hp/649.4 ft-lb stock and 464/971.6 tuned, minimaxx dyno numbers say 308hp/ 589 ft-lb stock and 495/ 1102. Clearly the the bullydog stock numbers are alot higher then what they really are so I have a very hard time trusting the 464/971
Our 09 6.7 is moderatly loud with just a delete pipe and stock muffler and doesnt blow any smoke either

Same here...

I can buy VP44 pump much cheaper than any CR Injectors... As for VP44 failure they are a thing of the past for me... 150K miles and still ticking just fine even if it failed at 200K I'm happy... But no problem picking up a VP44 for around a $1,000...

Shift gears to CR injectors they are expensive! Just for stock injectors its roughly $271...
Reman 6.7L 24 Valve CR Stock Injectors 202007.5---2011 Exchange (R & R only) 27LPM

So at 6 your looking at $1626... Still a VP44 is still cheaper... At $970...
BOSCH VP44 Standard Output for 235HP. Fits Automatic and 5-speed

So I can buy 2 injection pumps for the price of a set of CR injectors...

But still when a CR injector fails and stick open they normally wipe out the piston rings and cylinder bores. Because of CR system being pressure constantly to the injector that means it constantly spraying the cylinder walls down...

Oh just for fun... I can get a set of 6 injectors for the cost of 1 CR injector... LOL!
Diesel Auto Power 1998-2002 24v Injectors, Horsepower from 35-240

As for what makes more power... That meaningless to me... But what is rteliable and easy fixing that does matter to me... :naughty:

I have to agree with Mike on this. I can buy alot of vps compared to cr injector prices and motors if the injectors take one out. Ther are also alot of 2 gen trucks out there. But if 250k miles scaresyou on a 2nd gen I guess you ought to buy a 3rd and save up for some injectors.

Unfortunately its hard to find a second gen with low miles and has been well cared for anymore though

I found mine with 145k and it was well taken care of and I bought it cash money

I would have to go with the 6.7 cause the 4th gens interior is too nice to pass up :)

I would have to say 5.9. I've drove many a mile in a 5.9, 6.7 with DPF which put me in the shop 5 times for the filter getting clogged within 80,000 miles & 6.7 with dpf delete & bullydog.

There are just too many problems with the new diesels trying to not blow a little smoke that they are not reliable in my book. I do like the new body styles and interiors though, so it is a tough choice.

90k+ miles on our 09 6.7 it's been only been in the shop twice once for a brake problem and the other time was for 3 injectors. That situation wasn't because of the truck though, it was a fuel problem because we did all 6 in the 05 about a month before. The brake problem was my girlfriends dads fault as well lol
The 09 still has the stock front end under it even.
