50W 3600LM Cree LED for Fog Lights

I am extremely impressed with the performance of these as my fog lamps...the ballast is about 1/2 the size of an HID ballast - took about 15 minutes to swap out my prior bulbs...you have to choose your bulb type from the drop down...mine is 9006

My friend just bought some of these for Lexus CT projectors and fogs.

He was really impressed too and so was I when I saw pics. He said they were way brighter than the halogens but wasn't sure if they would be brighter than HIDS.

I am tempting to put them in my wifes car with halogen projectors. See how they do.

I was looking at these for my fogs. Is the beam focused at all, or is it scattered like a HID bulb would be? I have projector LED's, mostly for color...they don't project too much light on the road, and I don't want to blind oncoming traffic.

Good point

Some have said with these LEDs is they perform better in a projector housing. People who have just put them in just a headlight housing seem to say the light scatters and there's no focused cutoff.


Maybe with the smaller fog light housing they work better.
