My friend just bought some of these for Lexus CT projectors and fogs.

He was really impressed too and so was I when I saw pics. He said they were way brighter than the halogens but wasn't sure if they would be brighter than HIDS.

I am tempting to put them in my wifes car with halogen projectors. See how they do.

I was looking at these for my fogs. Is the beam focused at all, or is it scattered like a HID bulb would be? I have projector LED's, mostly for color...they don't project too much light on the road, and I don't want to blind oncoming traffic.

Good point

Some have said with these LEDs is they perform better in a projector housing. People who have just put them in just a headlight housing seem to say the light scatters and there's no focused cutoff.


Maybe with the smaller fog light housing they work better.
You have any down the road output shots?
