I have a 2004 ram 5.7L with a 545RFE trans. After my supercharger, nitrous, and methanol installs it doesn't really know when to shift. I know we don't have much option for trans tuning with these but what can I do? I have heard that there is a way incan flash it and re teach it? I have talked to a dealership to get a quick learn, he said this will not really help my problems... True?

You need to beef that baby up. With those mods your trans is probably hatin life. A quick learn would probably be a bad idea because it would relearn the problems its having afterwards.

Have you ever dyno'd the truck before? It might still be too much power for a new stock 545rfe lol.

Yea but it kept doing weird stuff, we thought it was the TC cause inhave 3200 circle D, but turns out I broke the trans the day after and it's being fixed. Hence why I say I think he charged for a HP build but built me stock :/ I told him I needed to support 650 horse and he said no problem on it. But now I'm second guessing everything he does when I broke it on day one... So I'm seeing if there is anything incan do to help it a bit

You need to look into a 727 swap, the 545 is garbage when it comes to holding power

If hes repairing it id wait and see till you get it back. He could have made an honest mistakeand just screwed something up. Depending on your wallet though i would suggest going to a better transmission than the 545rfe. Its meh.
