5Th Gen bed & Tailgate on 4th gen help!

Hey guys! I need some help, I have a 2018 2500 have to replace the bed & tailgate not knowing if there was a difference bought a 5th gen bed & tailgate now that I’m reading up on it the tailgate from the 5th gen won’t actually be a direct plug & play with the unlock/lock function as well as the back up camara…
I’ve been reading up in forums there’s a way to remedy this by changing some wires to the BCM but was wondering if there might be an adapter for this instead of going that route any information is greatly appreciated!

5th Gen beds use a coax type connector on the camera. It's a Fakra H, the Fakra type Z connector will fit also. Amazon sells cables 1ft to 20ft with fittings for $8 to $15. My problem is a 5in radio doesn't use or have a coax type camera connector. I'm looking for the BCM pin switch post to fix the handle release switch.

No...it's going to be awhile but I'm running around with tailgate apart to open tailgate manually. As far as the camera I have 4th gen camera mounted in 5th gen handle for now till I update to UAC/UAS uconnect 8.4
