6.7 DPF question.

2013 RAM 2500 SLT 4wd 6.7.
Asking for a friend. Lol. He wants to know if you were to just remove some or all (like make a hole through it or gut it completely) DPF material from its housing would it cause a performance issue or throw a DTC code.

Yeah just getting together the funds. Just bothers me all day that it's being choked. Wanted to see if I could help it in the meantime.
