Just wandering if this is common or normal.
Truck is a 2012, crew cab 1500, 4x4. It is lifted with 35’s, and still has the factory gearing. The speedometer has not been calibrated for the 35’s, but is only off by around 5%.

If I pull away from a stop, and accelerate to, and hold, 60mph, the trans will not shift into 6th gear.
However, if I accelerate to 65, then slow to 60, it will shift into, and hold 6th gear.

Just wanted to know if all the 6 speeds shift this way?

Mine didn't shift like that. I think everything needs to be recalibrated for the tire size.

Mine shifts to 6th right at 96km/h ( I think that is 60mph).. but if I accelerate to over 62mph I can hold 6th down to 90km/h ( I think that is about 55mph) my gearing is 3.55
Yours sounds about right given your bigger tires and uncalibrated Speedo.
