Does anyone happen to have pics of 4" vs 6" lift? I have 305/55r20 (33.2" x 12") tires and I'm thinking I could keep them on a 4", but a 6" I'd have to/want to go to 35" or 37". But, I hear "go to 6 or you'll be kicking yourself". But dang, that's a big added expense.

Also, I'm looking at Zone/BDS. If my truck has 2" Bilsteins, will those come off, or will my truck actually have a 6"/8" lift in front?

I think that tire and wheel setup would look good with a 4” kit. Would definitely want bigger with a 6”.

You can keep the bils up front, but you would want to lower them down to the factory height setting when you install the lift brackets so it is not higher than 4”.

Nice looking truck!

The cost difference of 4"to 6" is very small. I say go 6". You can keep the Bilsteins and set them down to stock height perch to get you down to the 4" or 6" of lift.

Either way let us know if we can help. We have Zone lifts in stock and have many customers right here running Zone lifts! Send me a message for more info and a quote.

The the 4th gen Trucks zone and bds offered a standard 6” and a tail high kit. The difference being the rear spring is 3” or 5”. On the 5th gen Rams the 4” kits come with the 3” and the 6” kits come with the 5” springs in the rear.
The billsteins set at 2” would leave you nose high with either kit. I would recommend lowering them down. You can use them to take up the preload spacer gap. However a lot of the installers out there can’t seem to follow instructions and just do anything technical wrong.

Anytime I’m the only one on the East Coast doing it as far as I know. I haven’t heard of another Ram shop

I raised mine to 5” with 35’s and totally happy with it. Then as time went on, as you guessed, I was noticing other Rams that caught my attention with slightly higher lift. Needless to say, I have 7” now, lol.

35’s are fine with either and no rubbing or trimming needed. If I went to 37’s, then ‘re-gearing’ becomes a very real consideration which certainly isn’t a cheap direction to go.

I ended up going with 6" BDS w/ 35's (wheels: 20x12 -18).

Looks great.

If you can, tint the front wi does and bring it over the top.

Also….. get your RM in for truck of the month!!!! :waytogo:

Seems like Headache Racks, Roll bars etc are making a new comeback too :favorites37:

The front windows are tinted to the max TX will allow. This was also peak time for sunlight hitting that wall in front of my truck. Here's a shot from another angle. I have always liked the sport bar w/ lights look (kid of the 70's here). I think I found the TOTM area, but it looks like May was the last month it was voted on?

Yep, your right …… must have been the lighting. This photo definately shows the tint. Looks great :waytogo:

TOTM is running a bit behind. G-Ride990 runs that aspect. Send him a message and inquire about the next one.

I think you’d do very well :waytogo:

I currently have a 2020 1500 on 38s. I went with a 6inch rough country lift (with struts) a motofab 2.5 leveling kit front and motofab 1.5 leveling in rear. It gave me roughly 8.5-9” of lift. Been running it for about 60k miles.

If you just want some good lift, definitely go 6” and you could clear a 37 with minor trimming.
