60 days waiting for parts

I'm totally confused how this China Covid attack has disrupted our country so much. It's sad that a lot of people have died from this epidemic but our whole country is dyng also. Ive been waiting for recall part for over 6 months and they say they can't get it. Truck could catch fire as my friends did and to be honest wish it would so I could get a chev or Ford as this 17 eco is junk

All joking aside, I got a good laugh out of this one.

I got my oil changed last week. No issues. While I was there I walked the lot and wasn’t surprised to see there were ZERO 2500 Hemi 4x4’s of any variety for sale - new or used. There were several CTD’s but they were clearly the leftovers - fully loaded $80k plus models. No thanks.

The sales guy I bought from back in March said he’d make me a great deal on mine. The demand in this area is insane for the Hemi over the CTD. Anyway, told him I was getting the oil changed but would check with him in 500k miles.

Work in a Chevy dealership doing maintenance and clean up work.
Even GM has problems getting parts and the workmen ship is poor, not sure if it is Covid or what.
In last few weeks I have seen a 2020 camero that needed a new motor, under 500 miles on it.
a few silverados 1500 needing motors or cam shats replaced,
Both trucks had under 2000 miles on them, one a 2020 and the other a 2021
So it is not just Ram
Whats really sad is I have seen 2 2020 corvette stingrays in the shop with problems, and these cars are 85,000 dollars plus

Oh yeah chevys are dog****. I have a buddy whos a chevy mechanic, every time i see him hes always fuming about one stupid thing or another with the GM products, apparently they arent too fun to work on from what i hear

sadly, it's not just ram (or car/truck in general) and not just in the usa, i'm in quebec, canada and at the beginning of december i tried to order a rebel style front grill for my 2019 1500 classic, it's in backorder at least until febuary.

i also tried to make to myself a christmas gift with a new pistol, backorder until at least march

About 4 years ago the body computer went out on my Cadillac CTS at 63,000 miles. Took 7 weeks to get one------"they are all going in new cars production and we can't get one"---yeah right, good excuse!! During that 7 weeks I did a lot of research and the day I picked the car up it got traded in for a non GM and haven't looked back. Plus, no rental, good thing I had a RAM van! Guess it happens to all of them but it sure is frustrating. Art

I bought my wife a Godin Guitar from
Your neck of the woods. Back ordered until late February and this was weeks before Christmas. Currently waiting on Gears/cam/converter.
