So I had something very strange happen to me yesterday... as I was trying to leave my house to take my last final of the semester, my truck was having trouble going into drive. Once it finally did, it put the gear select in 4th and I could tell the transmission went into 4th gear as well because it had no power off the line.

I decided to leave it parked and got a ride to campus from a friend. After the final I flashed my tune back to stock and I was able to drive 3 hours to my parent's house no issue.

What gives? Is my solenoid pack going bad? It makes sense because I'm around the 75k mark and I'm nowhere near a grandma driver. It's been delaying going into reverse and drive for a while now.

Imho, it's kind of early for the sensors to go. How is the fluid ?

Is the fluid the factory fill? If so I would start with that. Castrol Transmax ATF+4 great fluid for the RFE transmissions and is relatively cheap.
