7" EVIC backlight color

I just swapped clusters to a 7" EVIC. I noticed the white backlight of the gauges is slightly off white compared to my old 3.5" EVIC cluster. I am just wondering if this is how all the 7" EVICs are. The 3.5" EVIC was blinding at night so I wouldn't be surprised if they changed this later on. In my pictures it is really hard to tell. It is much more noticeable in person.

2016 1500. My 7in is bright white. It is so bright I have to dim it at night. Almost blinding.

Ya that is what I am used to with my 3.5" EVIC. I took another picture with the white balance adjusted to look more like what I see with my eye. It is defiantly warmer.

Yeah that definitely has a warmer yellowish look to it.. if it was a used evic, maybe they had to replace the lighting before reselling and went cheap.

I'm having the exact issue with mine, driving me insane looking for answers lol I feel a little better knowing I'm not the only one, did you ever find the issue or replace it or just kept it as is?

At night you have to slide the dimmer dial just a bit to dim it. Sucks but only option I found.
