looking for information on what years and what vehicles will work for this conversion.
Also if anyone has a front axle for sale that will work please inform.
If you're still looking to do this, its a pretty simple swap. You do need to find out what axle is in the front first. If its a Dana 44 then you will need to swap out the knuckles, spindles, and outer shaft from a dodge axle from years 70-74 and 81-90. the years in between had full time 4x4 axles, and you don't want those parts. Also parts from any chevy 10 bolt axle will swap in directly, if you go that direction you may get a different lug pattern unless you have an 8 lug axle. the brakes on the chevy's will also be different, but hoses can be made to make them work.
If you have a dana 60 then i assume its the same sort of thing. Find an axle with disk brakes and start swapping parts. Or just replace the whole axle, your call.
This article explains knuckle swaps in depth about halfway down in the "Knuckles Out" paragraph. Mr.N's Dana 44 Flatop Knuckles
