Would anyone know what this connector is for on an 8.4 Uconnect? 2017 Ram
The only thing that will not work on this new style. Radio is the microphone. It comes with a microphone, but that one does not work either.
The connector in the picture does not have a place to hook up on the new radio

You installing a T-Style radio? I believe that connector is the SiriusXM antenna which typically doesn’t connect to the T-Styles.

T style radio backup cam hook up

I bought a T style radio and installed it. All the camera inputs only have a yellow RCA jack style. Factory harness does not. How do I get around this? Also, is the white or purple wire from the factory harness the input for back up camera?

You are correct, it is SXM and GPS and will be unused.
