Have owned 4-cyl's, and 6-cyl's, but NEVER an 8-cyl, therefore I have NO experience with 8's :roflsquared:

So, on the "average", what real time gas mileage could I expect on the above truck :favorites13:

Thanks folks

14-15 city, 20-21 highway with the 5.7 hemi. Could vary depending on gearing and driving style.

I have 4WD, 5.7, 3:55 gears, and 6-speed in crew cab express 5'7" bed. Usually drive 75mph on the highway.

Depends on how you drive. Should be pretty good for an overall ave....excepting the hemi foot minutes.

I drive like grandma compared to most, and I get 12-13 city, and as high as 21 on the highway. But my city is a lot of stop & go...for instance, if I drive the truck to work, I have 11 stops minimum and could be as high as 20, in 2 miles.

Winter blend fuel may drop mpg by 1-2. I get 12-14 on average with 80% city driving (average speed is about 20 mph EVIC). Long road trips I have gotten 18-19 on the highway, but cruise was set at 65-78 mph. Any speed about 55 my mpg drops.
See signature for info + fuelly.

I'm just under 17 mpg. Check my fuelly linked in my sig. Winter fuel definitely drops mpg.

16 to 17 is what I average. I can get 21 on hwy at 70. That's with a 8 speed 3.21 4x4. When your getting advice about this make sure the ones that are giving it to you, have what your talking about. The 8 speed makes all the difference not so much the gearing.

i get about 23mpg during summer mainly highway drving. winter fuel is garbage and i've seen a drop of like 5mpg but some of that is probably due to wind too

My 4.7 v8 hits 20 after I leave it at 70 or 75 for fifty miles or so with few stops and take offs. Got a kn filter and a flowmaster 40 with no tailpipes

I have a 2014 Crew cab, 4x4, 3.92 gears with the 5.7L... In town we average about 15-16. On the highway, the computer says I'm around 18-19. But, we haven't done too much highway driving yet, so I don't have any real numbers to give you. We'll be taking it out of town this weekend (4 hr drive), so I can hopefully get some better numbers and report back. I say "we" because my wife drives it to work when it's cold out. She gets much worse mileage than I do. ;)

This makes me hopeful... I'm getting 13.5mpg out of my first tank. Bought it a week ago and that tank was about 50/50 but I also start it for about 10mins before leaving to go anywhere. Never had a remote start and definitely not a heated steering wheel that makes it very nice in the freezing cold we've had this past few weeks in PA so hopefully summer driving is a lot better mpgs :favorites13:
