Anyone have a source on the RAM 8HP70 adapter flange yoke. I have seen Sonnax makes a couple for the other Chrysler ZF's but not the Ram 1500 2wd 8hp70's. Im having my trucks driveshaft shortened for the swap, but i need the correct adapter.

Thank You

Well today was expensive, Ordered the SGA kit, PPE pan and Edge TQ .

Heading out to the shop to start fibre glassing the dial shifter into the center console.
It may have been expensive today.

But the real question you'll ask yourself is....why wasn't it like this from the beginning?

My truck completely transformed with the 8spd. No joke. Went from 'looks nice, drives fine' to 'looks nice, drives amazing'.

I will likely be selling my shifter in early 2024...I bougt a 5th gen console to graft in with the TRX/GT shifter. Let me get that installed (between Christmas and new year) and I'll post my other forsale.

I had both in my truck. The traditional shifter (Challenger shifter) feels more 'normal' but I enjoyed the space that was created by the dial shifter.

I had the dial shifter first....then swapped to the Challenger shifter. I still need to send my TCM to Russel to reprogram to enable the ERS...but now it is cold, and my alternate transportation toys are tucked away for winter....so it will be next year sometime.

Does he still reconmend using the 1320's TCM to get all the features available with a 8HP70. I know he used to reconmend the 1320's TCM if you wanted paddle shifters and the factory transmission brake

At the very least, re-program it with the scat pack OS. Definitely worth the hassle of removing the TCM and being down for a week, or doing it ahead of time while gathering parts. The various transmission shift patterns/modes and ERS are worth it alone.

I still cannot find a stock tune of the 1320 on the repository - your tuner ever send the stock configuration to you?

No,but then again i've forgot to ask him to,lol
The 1320's only have 2 modes, you either get the normal mode,or the drag mode in them, they're a bit differant from the normal Scatpacks 3 modes.
The drag mode definitely changes the transmissions operating parameters,as it shifts quicker, and at roughly 6400/6500 at WOT,and is the only mode where the tranny brake is available.

Short little video on the 1320's where Jim Wilder mentions the brake, and how to use it.

I think I have a copy of the stock 1320 TCM file - I can check when I get home.

First coat of fiberglass done. Now time to make a mount for my Air Lift gauge and controller in the empty spot.

And the PPE pan just showed up... lol... Never realised the cheapest place I found it on is in Lloydminster.

SGA Kit shipped today :dogpile:

8 Speed with 63xxxkm on the way as well

You're cruising! Nice work in the dial shifter grafting! It looks almost natural there, doesn't it?

Awesome, please let me know if you find it.
I have a 2019 1320 stock file - if your email is still the same as it was last year....the file is in your email now.

Otherwise, shoot me a PM with your new email and I'll send it your way.

Do you already have the transmission you're using for the swap? On my 2nd donor transmission (from LKQ), the bracket and a cut cable came with the transmission.

The PN I found for the cable when I was researching a ways back was 68507315AA - you could try that one. Are you going to attempt to route it to the stock location? Russell suggested just mounting it somewhere under the hood and fabricating a bracket to hold the end, no need to route it inside the cab. I currently don't have anything installed and can crawl under the vehicle with a large pry bar and pop it into neutral if needed but always planned to go back and buy the 68507315AA cable and just mount it under the hood somewhere. As far as cables go I would think if you're not picky about the pull end configuration, you could try searching for the cable from a different model and mount it under the hood.

As for the bracket, I MAY have a spare if the transmission in the truck has the bracket installed already. I know my spare has a bracket but I may need it if the currently installed transmission doesn't have it.
